Celloman: Acoustic Cello Solo Show

Experience a unique and captivating acoustic cello solo performance by Ivan.

About the Show:

Ivan will present tracks from his albums "Arpezzato Cello" (2019) and "Cello Moods & Broods" (2023). The evening will culminate in stunning duos and trios performed with virtual versions of himself on screen.

"Cello Moods & Broods": "...a fine reminder of the emotional power of the cello" - All About Jazz.

The show is split into two engaging halves:

  • The first half explores the historical evolution of the cello, demonstrating its transformation from a bass to a melodic instrument.

  • Ivan introduces "Arpezzato," a new style combining arpeggio and pizzicato techniques, showcasing finger techniques from Pop/Rock, Blues, and Jazz.

  • The second half builds on the first, with the addition of bowed melody and harmony, and the virtual performance elements.

Duration: 2 x 50 mins with Interval.
